Product Overview

This is a full set of vintage Type 78 Chinese Railway spring and autumn service uniform, manufactured by Dalian No.1 Garment Factory, the official standard uniform for railway passenger transport staff from the late 1970s to the 1980s. The full set adopts classic railway blue plain cotton fabric, matched with original matching peaked cap, presenting the classic formal uniform style of frontline railway employees in the early reform and opening-up era. Suitable for vintage uniform collection, railway history exhibition, period film props, train-themed photography and historical display.

The jacket adopts the official lapel design of Type 78 railway uniform, fitted with original gilt metal buttons engraved with railway emblem, two buttoned flap chest pockets and two side hip pockets, fully consistent with the official standard cut of that year. The inner collar retains the factory woven label printed with "Dalian No.1 Garment Factory".

Matching trousers use identical plain cotton fabric with consistent color and texture, standard straight uniform cut with belt loops and side pockets to form a complete matching set with the jacket. The matched peaked cap is made of blue plain cotton fabric with light green piping on the crown, black fabric cap band fitted with red five-pointed star railway emblem, paired with black patent leather visor and gold braid chin cord, conforming to the original factory specifications of Type 78 railway cap.

All fabric color, plain fabric texture, button molds, pocket layout, factory label and cap accessories are original factory configurations, retaining the original sewing craft and unique historical details of China’s railway system.
