This is a premium reproduction of the Type 55 firefighter soldier uniform. Meticulously developed based on 1955 fire service uniform archives and original period specimens. In the early years of the People's Republic, fire brigades were under the public security system, so the uniform design shares lineage with the Public Security Troops while bearing distinct characteristics of the fire service of that era.

The tunic is crafted from khaki cotton plain weave fabric, featuring a soft turn-down collar with hidden fastening. Five dark brown round buttons run vertically down the front placket. Dual chest pockets with pointed flap closures, each secured with a matching button, showcase precise and neat stitching. Triple-reinforced stitching at the shoulders not only reflects the practical durability standards of the era but also gives the garment a crisp, structured silhouette.

Sewn to the left chest is the cloth "Chinese People's Police" breast badge — white ground with red characters and red border. The typography and color scheme follow the original period specification, as fire brigades were part of the public security sequence back then, making this breast badge standard issue.

The matching garrison cap is made from the same khaki fabric as the tunic, with a structured and three-dimensional shape — a highly representative cap style in the Type 55 uniform system. Thin red piping runs along the top edge of the cap, outlining a distinct service profile.

The cap badge is a golden circular national emblem style with red ground and golden five-pointed star, gear and wheat motif — finely crafted and the standard cap badge specification for firefighter soldiers of that period, fully recreating the historical appearance.

The matching royal blue service trousers are made from high-quality cotton fabric with pure color. Red piping runs along the outer side seam — the signature design of Type 55 public security/fire service uniforms. The khaki tunic paired with blue trousers and red piping creates a striking color contrast, highly recognizable of the era.

Side pockets with buttoned flaps offer practicality as well as visual appeal; belt loops are provided at the waistband for use with a service belt. The overall cut is form-fitting yet comfortable, maintaining the upright posture expected of military attire.

Full bespoke tailoring is available. Provide your detailed measurements — height, chest, waist, shoulder width, head circumference and more — and we will pattern-make individually to ensure a perfect fit.
